-Poinsettias require bright light. So a South, West, or East window will be fine. The brighter the better though.
-Doesn't require a grow light.
-Water when the top layer of soil dries out. Usually in the winter, the air is more dry so you’ll have to check on it more often.
-If you have a saucer to collect the water at the bottom, just make sure to empty it. Poinsettias don't like to be sitting in standing water.
-Keep the soil moist.
-Poinsettias are an indoor plant for those of us who live in Canada and the United States. Because of this, they like to be in an area where the temperature is between 18oC and 22oC. The colourful bracts will remain if temperatures don’t exceed 22oC.
-If you have them near a window just make sure the leaves aren’t touching the glass or they can get cold damage and fall off.
-They don't like drafts or their leaves can fall off prematurely.
