Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking Landscaping Crew Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various landscaping tasks, contributing to the successful completion of projects while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation and maintenance of landscaping features, including but not limited to planting, mulching, sod installation.
• Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Preform general labour tasks such as digging, hauling, and lifting materials.
• Assist in preparation of job sites, including clearing debris and setting up equipment.
• Follow directions from the Crew Lead and Foreman to complete tasks effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with team members and report any issues to supervisor.
• Any additional duties set out by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in landscaping or general labour is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects. (up to 80Lbs)
• Capability to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
• Basic knowledge of landscaping practices and tools is an advantage.
• Valid driver's license is preferred but not required.
• Reliable for of transportation. (Not on bus route)

Hours of Work:

This position is Seasonal, full time, and will be 5 days a week. Monday to Friday with minimal Saturdays and no Sundays.

Compensation:

The pay rate based on experience. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times regular pay after 44 hours per week.
